Job summary

WalterFedy is seeking a Principal, Energy and Carbon Solutions to lead the ECS practice, driving technical excellence, client delivery and sustainable growth across projects and clients. You will shape market positioning, grow opportunities, and convert studies into implementable energy projects in Buildings and related units.

You will mentor a team of up to 15, ensure quality and governance, and guide energy modelling, geothermal design, decarbonization and advisory work for complex client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; PEng license preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive energy, carbon or sustainability engineering experience.
• Proven business development and leadership in ECS services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client delivery across ECS projects with scope, schedule and budget accountability.
• Build and sustain long-term client relationships as senior contact.
• Identify opportunities, guide proposals, pricing, contracts and negotiations.
• Provide senior technical authority on energy modelling, geothermal design and decarbonization.
• Oversee financials, forecasts, risk and governance for the portfolio.
• Coach and develop a discipline-based team of up to 15 people.
