Job summary
Canada Life is seeking an Engineering Specialist to design, implement, and secure end-user computing and digital workplace platforms. The role covers endpoint engineering, desktop engineering, VDI, automation, and security to deliver scalable workplace services.
The position focuses on Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, MECM, Entra ID, and related platforms, with emphasis on reliability, security, and continuous improvement. On-site Canada Life teams support a modern enterprise environment.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years in endpoint engineering, desktop engineering, or related roles.
- Experience with enterprise Windows environments and macOS management.
- Strong knowledge of Intune, MECM, Entra ID and Microsoft security tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain endpoint management across Windows, macOS and VDI.
- Develop automation to improve provisioning, deployment, compliance, and reporting.
- Evaluate new endpoint and AI-enabled technologies to improve service delivery.
- Lead projects in deployment, modernization, and governance of workplace platforms.
