Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience as an electrical engineer focused on EMT studies.
• International experience in power system planning studies is an asset.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership on EMT power system studies projects.
• Prepare and review study methodologies and project study cases.
• Manage client relations and business development activities.

Skills

Expert level of experience in power system studies with emphasis on EMT analysis

Strong background in static and dynamic modelling of HVDC converters

Expertise in PSCAD and other EMT software applications

Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Education

MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng and/or PE)
