Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead and manage EHV transmission line projects, including 500kV and 765kV designs, coordinating with utilities, COOPs, and developers. The role requires expert-level knowledge and strong leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.

This hybrid role requires in-office work three days per week in Calgary, Alberta, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree from an ABET‑accredited program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams in execution of EHV transmission line designs (500kV/765kV).
• Develop and deliver design deliverables and technical scope.
• Mentor and coach team members; supervise project execution.
• Coordinate with client functional leads and internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet specifications.
• Prepare reports and communicate project status clearly.
