Job description

We are seeking a skilled Embryologist to join our team. The Embryologist will be responsible for performing various laboratory procedures related to embryology and assisting in the development of embryos for fertility treatments.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform all aspects of embryology laboratory procedures, including egg harvesting, ICSI, insemination, vitrification, warming, embryo transfers, and trophectoderm embryo biopsy.
2. Adhere to laboratory protocols, quality control, and quality assurance measures.
3. Monitor and evaluate embryology laboratory equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and troubleshooting.
4. Assist with quality management, audits, and maintaining consumables and equipment.
5. Contribute to ongoing research projects and participate in scientific presentations and publications.
6. Train and induct new and junior staff.
7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in reproductive medicine and implement best practices.
8. Perform laboratory procedures such as oocyte retrieval, insemination, embryo culture, and transfer.
9. Monitor and analyze embryo development and quality.
10. Maintain accurate records of procedures and results.
11. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
12. Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as an embryologist in an IVF laboratory.
• Bachelor's degree in reproductive biology, embryology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in embryology laboratory procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of reproductive medicine terminology.
• Experience with biological sample handling and fertility treatments.

Additional Requirements:

• Proven laboratory experience, preferably in embryology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
