With a full-service state-of-the-art IVF lab and a multidisciplinary care team, we are redefining what fertility care can look like in Canada.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced embryologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. The successful candidate will bring a deep commitment to patient care, technical excellence, and teamwork, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all clinical embryology and andrology tasks including
  • Oocyte retrieval and denudation
  • Conventional IVF and ICSI
  • Embryo assessment, extended culture, assisted hatching
  • Embryo and oocyte vitrification and warming
  • Trophectoderm biopsy for PGT
  • Embryo transfer preparation
  • Semen preparation and general andrology support
  • Ensure strict adherence to lab protocols
  • Participate in equipment maintenance, quality control, and quality assurance procedures (daily, weekly, monthly logs)
  • Accurately document clinical procedures in the EMR and patient records
  • Mentor and support junior staff and participate in training activities
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and manage inventory and supplies

What We’re Looking For

  • BSc or MSc in Biology, Biomedical Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a clinical IVF laboratory
  • Proficient in ICSI, embryo culture, vitrification, and embryo biopsy
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory compliance
  • Exceptional critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Certified by CFAS as an ART Lab Professional (preferred)

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time position based in Calgary, Alberta
  • Participation in weekend and holiday rotations is required
