dormakaba is seeking an Embedded Developer - Security Specialist in Montreal to enhance and validate security features of electronic locks and access management systems, with a focus on RFID and BLE technologies. You will develop secure firmware, implement robust security protocols, and conduct comprehensive security testing to ensure industry-standard security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in embedded firmware development with a focus on security.
• Proficiency in C and embedded platforms (STM32, ARM Cortex-M, FreeRTOS, Zephyr).
• Strong knowledge of RFID and BLE security mechanisms and cryptographic algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and enhance secure embedded firmware for dormakaba's electronic locks and access systems.
• Verify and implement secure boot, firmware signing, and secure OTA updates.
• Review and integrate cryptographic implementations, including key management and authentication protocols for RFID and BLE.
• Analyze and mitigate security vulnerabilities in access control systems.
