Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking an Electrical Engineering Project Manager in Engineering Services to provide solutions that protect and control critical electrical infrastructure worldwide. You will lead multi-discipline projects from proposal conception through commissioning and close-out, collaborating with customers to deliver safe and high-quality SEL products and systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of PM experience in electric power systems.
• Demonstrates strong writing, documentation and speaking skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 25%.
• Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and manage scope, schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle project management from proposal to commissioning and close-out for multiple large multi-discipline projects.
• Lead design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems with customers.
• Manage scope, schedule and budget to deliver high quality and safe outcomes.
