Overview

Our client is a well-established electrical contracting company with a strong track record in residential, commercial, and industrial work. Due to company growth, they are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead complex projects, oversee teams, and ensure delivery excellence.

About The Opportunity

As a member of the Project Management team and reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee projects from commencement to completion. You will join a growing company based in Victoria with a substantial portfolio of upcoming projects. Your role will involve mentoring Project Coordinators and other site staff.

The Position

Your Role will Involve :

Project Planning & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of electrical construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Team Leadership
  • Manage and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and support staff.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project engineers, junior PMs, and site supervisors.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability across teams.
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors.
  • Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend and lead project meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Financial Oversight
  • Prepare, review, and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
  • Approve change orders, monitor labor costs, and ensure profitability.
  • Work with accounting and executive teams on billing and financial reporting.
Technical Oversight
  • Interpret electrical plans, specifications, and code requirements.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving to field operations.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Risk Management & Compliance
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain all necessary project documentation and compliance records.
The Requirements
  • 10+ years’ Electrical Project Management experience.
  • Electrical Journeyman certification and / or Red Seal ticket.
  • Proficient in the use of Accubid & Jonas software.
Compensation
  • Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 DOE
