Stantec is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in rotating machines and power generation systems, supporting projects and clients across Atlantic Canada and beyond. The successful candidate will function primarily in an advisory, technical leadership, and peer review capacity, influencing major project decisions, guiding engineering standards, and supporting complex problem-solving initiatives.
The successful candidate may be based in any Atlantic Canada office and will collaborate with regional and national teams on strategic energy infrastructure projects.

The role requires working in a typical office environment with computers. Stantec offers a flexible work plan (i.e., hybrid model, working between the office and home).

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
