Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of electronics design, hardware integration, testing, documentation, and V&V.
• Strong experience in analog circuit design and ultrasound/RF transducer integration.
• DFM and DFT methodologies are required.
• Experience with ISO 13485 and IEC 60601-1 standards for medical devices.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic capture, PCB layout, and output preparation.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture of a wireless, battery-operated wearable ultrasound device.
• Oversee schematic capture and PCB layout with Altium, focusing on manufacturability and BOM management.
• Characterize ultrasound analog front-end, noise, SNR, and electrical validation.
• Integrate electronics with mechanical enclosures and ultrasound transducers.
• Perform bench-level electrical validation using high-speed scopes and analyzers.
• Optimize power budget across MCU, sensors, and PMIC/LiPo battery system.
• Drive hardware prototyping, bring-up, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with firmware for driver validation and integration.
• Lead design transfer to manufacturing and iterate on specs based on feedback.
• Design test jigs for R&D and production testing.
• Support V&V under ISO 13485 and IEC 60601-1 regulatory validation.
