A leading power solutions firm in Canada is seeking an experienced engineer to design and manage elements of electrical power systems. The successful candidate will have a professional engineering designation and considerable experience in project management and client communication. Responsibilities include overseeing all project phases, conducting technical studies, and mentoring junior engineers. A strong focus on quality deliverables is required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Designs elements of power systems, protection, and controls. May oversee all elements of a project from start to finish, participate as a member of design team, or provide review, mentorship, and guidance for junior engineers. Investigate and solves intermediate-advanced technical problems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The position requires an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Science & Engineering as well as a current and valid Professional Engineer designation. A minimum 8-10 years of engineering experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
