Your Contribution

Your main responsibilities

  1. Lead electrical design and project management of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, communications, security, etc., for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
  2. Engage with clients, contractors, and suppliers to promote the firm positively.
  3. Participate actively in projects, providing guidance, client feedback, and direction to the electrical team.
  4. Collaborate with the design team to develop and monitor electrical design strategies ensuring efficient and sustainable project delivery.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with clients, industry partners, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel.
  6. Manage client relationships and project service delivery throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to warranty.
  7. Meet with clients regarding project progress and issue resolution.
  8. Coordinate preparation of engineering specifications, drawings, estimates, and costs.
  9. Ensure electrical drawings and specifications meet project criteria and standards.
  10. Develop standards for electrical engineering practices to ensure best practices in project management and delivery.
  11. Prepare reports, proposals, tender submissions, budgets, and project plans.
  12. Engage with agencies for project approvals and permits as needed.
  13. Estimate and schedule projects, procure materials, and maintain resources.
  14. Promote and apply Englobe’s health and safety rules.

Your Profile

What makes you unique

  • Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognized university.
  • Immediate eligibility for P.Eng. registration.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
  • LEED accreditation and sustainable design experience are assets.
  • Experience with engineering tools like AGI32, SKM PowerTools, AutoCAD, BI.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete projects.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Commitment to occupational health and safety.
