Role Overview

Designs, develops, and tests electrical and/or electronic equipment components, circuits, or systems by applying mathematical and engineering principles. Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical and/or electronic engineering. Typically reports to a manager.

Work involves both independent and collaborative efforts, contributing to moderately complex project aspects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
  • Typically 4 years of experience in a relevant complex engineering environment.
  • May require maintaining security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop solutions and solve complex problems to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Prepare reports and present findings at peer and design reviews.
  • Develop processes, influence decisions, and provide technical advice.
  • Stay updated on trends and emerging technologies.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Estimate work packages, ensuring safety, environmental, and compliance standards are met.
