Job summary

You will contribute to HVAC and building-system design from concept through construction. Ideal candidate has 3–6 years in mechanical design, is proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, and comfortable working with inter-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of mechanical design experience in a building consulting environment.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (OBC, ASHRAE, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to continue developing technically.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building systems.
• Prepare drawings, layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Support project teams through all phases, including schematic design, detailed design, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, structural, and architectural consultants.
• Perform basic calculations and assist with system sizing and equipment selection.
• Attend site visits and support field reviews as required.
