Position Overview

Our division, MPE, is seeking a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer / Manager to lead our team in Calgary. Englobe is dedicated to providing accommodations for applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.

Your Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain client relationships and industry partnerships.
2. Manage project delivery from inception to warranty, participating actively throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Meet with clients to discuss projects, report processes, and resolve issues.
4. Guide project teams, providing feedback and direction.
5. Collaborate with the design team to develop sustainable electrical design strategies.
6. Prepare engineering specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
7. Ensure compliance with project criteria and standards.
8. Develop and uphold electrical engineering standards and best practices.
9. Utilize industry software for design and analysis.
10. Prepare reports, proposals, bids, budgets, and project plans.
11. Coordinate with agencies for project approvals and permits.
12. Estimate, schedule, procure materials, and maintain project resources.
13. Promote and adhere to Englobe’s health and safety policies.

Your Profile

1. 10+ years of experience in electrical design engineering or management within the building sector.
2. Degree in electrical engineering from a recognized institution.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Revit & AutoCAD is a plus.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
