About the Role

• Lead the development of the design drawing deliverables and implementation of electrical systems for airport projects, including airfield lighting, control systems, and distribution systems.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation and reports under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with lead electrical engineers and technologists, architects, civil engineers, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into larger projects.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior personnel.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local codes, and industry best practices.
• Participate in client and project meetings, providing valuable input and insights.
• Contribute to the growth of the Electrical department through the review and development of design standards and templates.

What do we need from you

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in electrical CAD design, with at least 5 years of experience working on airport-related projects.
• Proven experience in designing and managing one or more of the following systems:
• Airfield Lighting Control and Management Systems (ALCMS)
• Airfield Lighting and Distribution Systems
• Field Electrical Centers and Buildings
• Parking Garage Electrical Systems
• Solar / PV Design and Implementation
• Clean Heat Plant Design
• Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and other electrical design software is a requirement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and mentor teams.

Additional Skills and Experience (Preferred but not required):

• Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and energy-efficient design practices.
• Familiarity with airport security systems, control systems, and related technologies.
