Please note, that this position is open to anyone within Northern Ontario who currently reside or are willing to relocate within 40 kms of one of FedNor's office locations.

Essential Qualifications
Education
  • - Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in a field relevant to the duties of the positions or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
Experiences
  • - Experience in developing and providing advice on complex** matters.
  • - Experience building relationships with various constituents and partners (federal, provincial, or municipal governments, Indigenous organizations, not-for-profit organizations or private sector).
  • - Experience in the development or delivery of economic development programming* and/or grants and contribution programs;

* Economic development programming includes, but is not limited to community development, entrepreneurship, business development, housing and infrastructure, etc.
**Complex is understood to mean those with some of the following characteristics: multidimensional, highly sensitive, affecting many partners or stakeholders external or /and internal , precedent-setting, having a major impact on service or program delivery.

Knowledge
  • - Knowledge of the economic development realities, challenges and opportunities in Northern Ontario.

Pay: $89,966.00-$128,102.00 per year
