Job summary

Uline Milton is seeking a Senior Distribution Director to oversee a 1 million square-foot warehouse, guiding inbound, outbound, and supporting departments to maximize efficiency and service.

You will lead a team of 300+ employees, focus on safety, accuracy, and on-time shipping, and drive performance through metrics and WMS expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on management in distribution centers (500k+ sq ft) leading 300+ employees.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with performance metrics and WMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound, outbound, and supporting departments day-to-day.
• Lead a 300+ employee warehouse team to ensure same-day shipping and excellent customer service.
• Maintain accuracy, safety, and high performance in a large, structured warehouse environment.

Pay from $250,000 to $300,000 per year

Position Responsibilities

• Guide all aspects of day‑to‑day warehouse operations encompassing inbound, outbound and supporting departments.


• Cultivate and empower a dedicated team of 300+ warehouse employees, ensuring unparalleled customer service and same‑day shipping.


• Uphold exceptional levels of accuracy, safety and performance in the daily functions of a well‑structured, high‑performing warehouse environment.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.


• 10+ years of hands‑on management experience in 500,000+ square‑foot distribution centers, including recruitment and motivation of a 300+ employee team.


• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.


• Experience with performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
