Job description

Who we are:

Financeit is a point-of-sale financing provider serving some of the largest home improvement and retail organizations in Canada. Our platform helps businesses close more sales by offering customers affordable monthly payment options for their next big home improvement, vehicle or retail purchase.

We are small enough that you can make an impact within the company and large enough to make an impact in the market. Financeit is a company where collaboration, inclusivity, fairness, and respect aren’t just ideas that get talked about, but are part of who we are. If such a workplace intrigues you, we hope you’ll join us.

About the role:

As a Senior Director, Strategic Programs, you will serve as the strategic architect of our Direct-to-Consumer products and value proposition. You will lead a high-performing team to optimize the consumer lending funnel, unlock long-term Customer Lifetime Value, and own end-to-end P&L performance.

In this role, you will lead the creation and implementation of initiatives designed to grow the reach of Financeit products and maximize value from every customer touchpoint. Your objective is to partner with key stakeholders to develop a value-driven, frictionless journey for all customers, whether they finalize a transaction immediately or interact with our services in the future.

If you are a visionary leader who thrives on converting complex, large-scale data into actionable business strategies, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Own the end-to-end borrower lifecycle, developing strategies that maximize Lifetime Value (LTV) through persistent engagement, retention, and repeat-use opportunities.

  • Lead high‑value cross‑sell initiatives, including our dealer‑focused strategies, to deepen the integration of our financial solutions within the consumer ecosystem.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product, Credit Risk, Finance, Marketing and the PMO to translate consumer insights and strategic opportunities into scalable solutions for new and existing customers.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate program performance, leveraging data‑driven insights to recommend enhancements to technology, process, and profitability.
  • Identify and mitigate strategic risks, developing robust contingency plans to protect the integrity and growth of consumer‑facing programs.
  • Synthesize complex analytical findings and program performance into compelling narratives for executive leadership, driving strategic alignment and securing investment for future initiatives.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging market trends and new opportunities to ensure our corporate strategy remains ahead of the curve.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, strategic consulting, or digital product strategy—ideally within financial services, FinTech, or top‑tier tech firms
