Are you a strategic powerhouse who thrives at the intersection of vision, execution, and social impact? Join the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) as our new Senior Director, Strategic Operations and Corporate Services, and lead the transformation of organizational systems that power real-world change.

About OHTN

The Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) is a recognized leader in improving the health and lives of people living with and at risk of HIV. Since 1998, OHTN has driven progress in Ontario through innovative knowledge sharing, data and evidence use, and deep partnerships with health systems, communities, and policymakers. Our work is grounded in equity, anti-racism, and the meaningful involvement of people living with HIV (GIPA / MIPA). We are proud of our strong internal culture—collaborative, inclusive, and deeply mission-aligned—and we’re looking for a visionary leader to help us scale our impact from the inside out.

Senior Director, Strategic Operations and Corporate Services

As a core member of the senior leadership team, you will be the strategic and operational driver behind OHTN’s infrastructure and organizational effectiveness. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Director, Strategic Operations and Corporate Services leads planning and performance across the enterprise. This role offers a rare combination of influence, complexity, and impact. You’ll oversee cross-cutting corporate functions, integrate them to power mission delivery, guide transformation, and position OHTN for long-term sustainability and success.

What You’ll Do
  • Strategic & Business Planning: Lead the development and execution of OHTN’s strategic plan in alignment with our vision, mandate, and program priorities.
  • Oversee corporate and program performance tracking through KPIs, scorecards, and reporting to senior leadership, the Board, and funders.
  • Drive data-informed decision-making by analyzing trends, identifying operational risks, and surfacing opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across all corporate services.
  • Corporate Services Oversight: Provide executive-level oversight for all corporate services functions.
  • Ensure integrated, compliant, and agile infrastructure that supports OHTN’s evolving needs.
  • Champion enterprise risk management and ensure adherence to legal, funding, and policy requirements.
  • Align information technology strategy with data needs, operational efficiency, and digital innovation goals.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with the Ministry of Health, funders, sector leaders, and collaborators.
  • Represent OHTN on external committees, forums, and working groups.
  • Serve as a delegate to the Board of Directors and its committees as needed.
  • People, Culture & Leadership: Inspire a high-performing, inclusive, and equity-driven team culture.
  • Lead and mentor a team of directors across Finance, HR, Communications, and IT.
  • Advance organizational priorities in diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and Truth & Reconciliation.
  • Promote a values-based work environment centered on trust, impact, and excellence.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 5+ in senior/executive roles.
  • A post-secondary degree in health, social sciences, public/business administration, or related field.
  • A strategic, systems-level thinker with strong planning, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of the nonprofit or public health sector, including operational models and funding structures.
  • Proven experience in financial management, HR strategy, IT/data leadership, and compliance.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise risk and change management in dynamic organizations.
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and consensus-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • A leadership approach that is people-first, inclusive, and driven by public service values.
Why OHTN?

This is more than an operations role—it’s a chance to reshape how a leading health organization delivers on equity, community, and impact. You’ll work alongside passionate peers, engage in bold systems thinking, and build infrastructure that directly supports people living with and at risk of HIV across Ontario.
