Overview

The Senior Director, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs is a pivotal leader responsible for shaping and executing the scientific and regulatory strategy for Loblaw's private label products across all categories (food and non‑food – natural health products, OTCs, medical devices, cosmetics, and personal care). This role drives scientific excellence, regulatory foresight, and enables innovation to accelerate product development, amplify brand trust, and secure a competitive advantage in the Canadian market. The position leads a high‑performing team, fosters critical external partnerships, and ensures the highest standards of compliance and customer‑centricity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Leadership: Leverage scientific expertise and evidence to pioneer innovative solutions and power strategic initiatives.
  • Brand trust & customer‑centricity: Elevate trust through evidence‑based claims and storytelling.
  • Strategic partnerships: Enhance partnerships to accelerate innovation and unlock market leadership.

Compensation

Hiring Range: $170,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year.
