Job summary

Infrastructure Ontario is seeking a Senior Director to provide high-quality legal services across commercial real estate, asset management, and corporate matters related to the Government’s real estate portfolio. You will lead a team of lawyers and clerks, supervise external counsel, and shape litigation strategy.

Requirements include a Law degree and Ontario Bar, extensive experience in leasing and development, and strong leadership and communications skills.

Qualifications

Licensed Ontario lawyer with LLB/J.D. and in good standing
Significant experience in commercial leasing, asset management, and realty operations
Proven leadership of legal teams handling complex transactions

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on commercial leasing, asset management, development, and corporate transactions.
Draft contracts and negotiate leases, amendments, and related documents.
Supervise Leasing & Contract Management Legal Team and support staff.
Coordinate external counsel and manage litigation strategy with senior management.
Assist in developing legal strategy for infrastructure project matters.
