What you’ll be doing :
  • Shape and drive the strategic direction of psychology services, ensuring operational excellence, innovation and financial sustainability
  • Build, train and enhance our assessment services across our network, not only for WSIB / WCB but for insurers and employers
  • Provide psychological assessments to maintain practice perspective across various services as needed
  • Develop, manage and lead the psychologist network across Canada and across program services
  • Oversee psychologists’ practices, ensuring adherence to policies, contracts and professional standards
  • Collaborate with leadership on program growth, quality improvement and cross-program alignment
  • Provide consultation relating to clinical practice, ethics and professionally-related issues, learning needs, learning plans and new applied professional practice initiatives and projects
  • Support the development of staff competencies through training, supervision and mentorship of students and residents
  • Maintain relationships with key partners, enhance brand recognition and contribute to marketing efforts and public relations activities
  • Help to identify research priorities and promote psychology staff involvement in research activities
  • Assist with psychologist recruitment, selection, hiring, onboarding and managing professional practice performance concerns
  • Promote an environment that supports team spirit and collaboration across the organization
  • Represent the psychology profession and provide expert consultation and input at various committees and within the Senior Management Team
  • Promote and support policies and practices that ensure culturally competent, inclusive and equitable psychological services, program content and delivery
What we’re looking for :
  • Doctorate (PhD) in Psychology
  • Registration, and in good standing, with College of Psychologists of Ontario
  • Ability and willingness to obtain other licenses / registrations across Canada as necessary
  • Experience and expertise building and leading a high-performing inter-disciplinary team and managing through strategic and operational change
  • Demonstrated success developing new programs and services to compete in the market
  • Exceptional leader with executive presence and strong business acumen who thinks and acts with strategic and tactical agility
  • Strong ability to negotiate, influence and create exceptional relationships with customers
  • Proven critical thinking, complex problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, French language skills are a definite asset
  • Highly developed organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate trends, plan and carry out planning
  • Awareness and acknowledgement of the value of using measurement-based care when supporting patients / clients to help guide clinical decision making; experience an asset
