Job summary

Ergomed is a specialist CRO focused on rare disease and oncology trials. We are seeking an experienced oncology strategy leader to coordinate competitive strategies for potential awards and ensure client needs are addressed in pre‑award activities.

You will co‑lead bid defenses with Business Development, build and nurture senior client relationships, and collaborate with global functions including Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory and Safety to win

Qualifications

  • Degree in life science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive CRO clinical research experience with strong oncology expertise.
  • Senior-level experience contributing to project oversight and delivery.
  • Proven track record developing and strengthening customer relations.
  • Previous oncology strategy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and develop competitive strategies for potential oncology awards during pre-award activities.
  • Lead oncology strategy as assigned and support other oncology strategists as needed.
  • Co-lead bid defenses with Business Development and participate in client meetings with senior staff.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients’ key decision makers to drive repeat business.
  • Collaborate with global functions (PM, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory, Safety) per scope.
  • Support business development and marketing activities through conferences, webinars, and white papers.

Job Description
  • Responsible to coordinate and develop competitive and flexible strategies for potential awards in oncology and oncology-related indications, leveraging expertise, operational capabilities, and technologies to ensure client needs are addressed in the pre-award activities.
  • Serves as the lead oncology strategist as assigned for potential awards and/or supports the other oncology-focused operational strategists as appropriate.
  • Co-leads bid defense preparations with Business Development for assigned opportunities and participate in other client meetings as needed in collaboration with Business Development, the SVP, SSPC, and other Senior Operational staff.
  • Develops strong relations with clients’ key decision makers by leveraging knowledge and expertise to drive repeat business for oncology and oncology-related opportunities and awards.
  • Collaborates closely with other global functions, such as Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory and Safety as per the scope of the opportunity.
  • Supports functional teams to enhance client relations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Support business development and marketing activities by participating in conferences and meetings and generating marketing content such as webinars and white papers as part of Ergomed Group’s overall marketing strategy.
Qualifications
  • Degree in a life science or another related field, or equivalent education and experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in clinical research within a CRO with strongoncology experience
  • Demonstrated experienceat a senior level contributing to project oversight and delivery
  • Proven track-record in maintaining, developing and strengthening customer relations
  • Previous experience in an oncology strategy position preferred
