What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and support finance transformation projects, optimizing processes in line with strategic goals
- Conduct in-depth analysis of finance and accounting processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Oversee financial consolidation, reporting, and compliance with U.S. and Canada GAAP requirements
- Develop and implement internal control frameworks and policies to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with finance leaders to ensure a seamless global reporting process

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Significant senior-level experience in a financial leadership role with a focus on accounting standards and financial reporting
- Proven experience in leading major finance transformation projects, including systems implementation and process improvement
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex financial data for non-financial executives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA in Finance or equivalent advanced degree
- Public accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 audit experience
- Experience working in a non-profit social enterprise model
