Job description

An advanced medical technologies company is hiring a strategic and growth-driven Senior Director of Marketing to architect and execute their global marketing strategy. This hybrid leadership role has a strong focus on demand generation, product marketing, and commercial enablement, with an emphasis on the U.S. and international healthcare markets.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Director of Marketing will lead the entire marketing function, aligning product, brand, and go-to-market plans to accelerate company growth. This role will oversee product marketing, content and digital strategy, field and customer marketing, and support investor relations. You'll lead a high-performing team and leverage AI, data, and experimentation to push this company to the forefront of MedTech innovation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a full-funnel marketing strategy focused on scalable demand generation.
  • Align brand, product, and go-to-market execution to maximize market impact.
  • Drive awareness and differentiation in target markets.

Demand Generation & Sales Enablement

  • Create integrated campaigns that utilize digital, content, and field marketing to generate leads and increase pipeline velocity.
  • Enable the sales team with customer-ready assets, tools, and messaging to drive performance.
  • Use AI-based tools to personalize outreach and improve marketing efficiency.

Product Marketing & Management

  • Define and refine the company's value propositions based on customer segments and competitive positioning to enhance its market presence.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Clinical Affairs to shape product roadmaps and translate features into market value.
  • Identify unmet needs and help develop new product offerings to address them.

Investor & Corporate Communications

  • Support the CEO with investor communications, presentations, and brand positioning.
  • Ensure consistent, high-impact messaging across all corporate channels.
  • Lead and mentor a nimble, cross-functional marketing team focused on agility and experimentation.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, bold thinking, and continuous learning.
  • Actively contribute as part of the senior leadership team.

Requirements

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Experience in the medical device, MedTech, or healthcare sector is required.
  • 6+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven ability to scale marketing for a small to mid-sized company or product line.
  • Successful track record in U.S. or global marketing initiatives.
