Indeed is seeking a strategic Senior Sales Director for the Toronto Mid-Market Business. In this key role, you will oversee our Mid-Market Teams and Sales Directors, spearheading the advancement of our strategy to expand our client base and drive incremental revenue growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with key market collaborators, to enhance Indeed's overall market share.

Our Mid-Market Sales Teams play a critical role in driving the success of business growth in the Benelux region. This role is pivotal in supporting our sales efforts and collaborating with all other sales units within the region to maximize impact.

You will cultivate impactful collaborations with collaborators from Client Success, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Marketing, and other departments to shape and implement a sales strategy tailored for our mid-market clients.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Canada, you will collaborate closely with this executive and other senior leaders to align on sales goals, strategies, and tactics that drive business outcomes.

Who you are

  • Enhance and execute our sales strategy, while establishing and strengthening relationships with key market players.
  • Mentor and coach a high-performing team of Sales Directors and individual contributors, fostering an environment that supports peak performance.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a team of Sales Directors and Account Managers, overseeing the sales process from qualification to the positioning of Indeed’s products and services.
  • Drive new business development, increase market share, and expand our customer base by generating incremental revenue.
  • Demonstrate expertise in closing large, consensus-oriented deals with key clients.
  • Directly manage relationships with business owners and CEOs when necessary.
  • Ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, manage revenue forecasts, and monitor performance metrics for your teams.

Who we are

  • 10+ years of relevant sales experience
  • At least 5 years of management experience that includes management of other managers with their own direct reports
  • Proven ability to manage complex strategic relationships
  • In-depth and comprehensive understanding of the Canadian sales market
  • Demonstrated success in sales-driven environments and outstanding leadership capabilities
  • Fluency in English

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), a Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
