Job summary

Fitch Ratings is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Funds & Asset Management group, overseeing fund ratings analysis, methodology, and model development across NA, EMEA and APAC. The role emphasizes building senior relationships with investors and lenders while driving strategic initiatives and research.

A flexible work arrangement allows up to two remote days per week. The team collaborates to deliver timely insights that influence decisions in a dynamic market, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Minimum solid experience in credit analysis, with exposure to funds or structured finance a plus.
• Proven experience managing teams and delivering multi-stakeholder complex projects.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound academic track record to at least first university degree in finance, economics, statistics, accounting, or computer science.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the team and drive execution of key initiatives, including development of new rating methodologies, models, operational infrastructure, and research.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members, and support the group's continued growth.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with investors, bankers, and fund managers; represent Fitch at industry events and webinars.
• Evaluate complex transactions involving funds and structured products, integrating quantitative modelling, qualitative analysis, and legal documentation review.
• Lead due diligence meetings with fund managers and lenders.
• Produce research on trends and developments across covered sectors.
• Chair rating committees and provide analytical guidance
