Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Senior Director, Strategic Technology Initiatives Lead to connect Pfizer's strategic technology initiatives with the eight Digital Core Platforms, overseeing Senior Technical Architects and aligning AI programs at ELT level across the platform landscape.

The role requires senior leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to create clarity from complexity, orchestrate multi-initiative delivery, and drive reusable digital capabilities at global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with 12+ years of leadership in technology strategy, architecture, or large-scale delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading technology strategy and delivery of multiple concurrent programs, aligning them into a coherent whole.
• Proven ability to lead and develop senior technical talent, including architects and principal engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the connected technology strategy across strategic initiatives and ensure alignment to the eight Digital Core Platforms.
• Lead ELT-level AI programs translating priorities into a coordinated set of initiatives with clear ownership and delivery models.
• Oversee, develop, and guide a team of Senior Technical Architects to ensure architecture quality and portfolio consistency.
