Job summary

KV Capital, a leader in real estate debt and investment, seeks a senior professional to grow its CMHC-insured multifamily lending platform across British Columbia and Alberta. You will originate, structure, and close CMHC-insured transactions, leveraging a strong broker and sponsor network.

This role offers a hybrid work model in a expanding national footprint, with a base salary in a guaranteed range and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, business, or related field.
• Credentials in mortgage brokering or CPA/CFA/AMP/MBA are assets.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in commercial mortgage origination or CMHC-insured lending.

Responsibilities

• Source CMHC-insured multifamily financing opportunities, including term mortgages and construction take-out.
• Maintain pipelines by building relationships with brokers, developers, and owners.
• Negotiate and develop needs-based CMHC-financed solutions for clients.
• Prepare and finalize mandatories, term sheets and deal packages with underwriting team.
• Ensure CMHC program compliance and timely loan closure across transactions.
