ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic problem solver and storyteller with a proven ability to elevate brands. You’re driven by curiosity about consumer behavior and skilled at uncovering insights that spark compelling marketing communications. You thrive on breakthrough creative and media ideas, collaborating with internal teams and agency partners to bring them to life across Paid and Owned channels.

You lead with action and executional excellence, guiding teams to activate holistic ideas. With a deep understanding of the retail landscape, you build 360° marketing programs that span channels, priorities, and collaborators. Relationship-building comes naturally, and you flourish in a fast-paced, fun, and beauty-driven culture.

Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you’ll lead Canada’s annual marketing plan and activity calendar across brands and categories, driving campaign and content execution. You’ll develop strategic and creative plans to boost brand differentiation, consumer awareness, and traffic, ultimately contributing to share and sales growth. You’ll also shape and align North American marketing plans, champion Canadian insights, and lead consumer research initiatives.

As a key voice across the organization, you’ll communicate and drive marketing priorities with a focus on results and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Collaborate with business and marketing partners to lead fully integrated brand and category marketing plans and calendar for Canada
  • Develop, present, and manage the annual advertising budget aligned to corporate priorities, product/category focus, and competitive activity
  • Uncover consumer insights and trends relevant to the Canadian market and business
  • Understand key segments and motivations to craft targeted initiatives that drive growth
  • Lead development and execution of brand and category campaigns
  • Oversee all social media and influencer content strategy and execution
  • Partner with US lead to shape integrated North American marketing strategy and calendar
  • Identify opportunities for strategic localization and advocate for Canadian-led initiatives backed by insights and business needs
  • Manage external agency relationships across strategy, creative, media, budget, and performance
  • Champion Sephora’s brand image in the Canadian market
  • Lead a team of 14 across Campaigns, Social/Influencer, and Consumer & Market Insights
  • Play a key role in coaching and developing talent across the broader Marketing team
