Job summary

Google LLC in Toronto, ON is seeking a Senior Digital Strategy Lead to drive accelerated growth for SMBs. You will own full-funnel digital marketing strategies, partner with cross-functional teams, and translate client needs into actionable plans that deliver measurable results.

You will leverage Google Ads, YouTube, and AI-enabled insights to optimize campaigns and scale client success across multiple accounts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or marketing.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience developing and pitching solutions through various channels (i.e., telephone, email, in-person meetings) to prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building quarterly plans for achievements.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering an outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business/marketing objectives.
  • Own the full cycle sales process by driving customer outreach, sales pitches, solution implementation, and performance evaluation.
  • Engage and support customers and build relationships by partnering closely with the internal SMB Account Manager pod to pitch solutions and accelerate business growth, while coaching teammates across the organization to proactively expand the skills that cultivate customers growth and contribute to overall team success.
  • Model sales behaviors including executive-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and promoting, while leading and strengthening executive-level relationships through key meetings, business reviews and speaking engagements.

  • Experience using AI to drive efficiencies or improve productivity.
  • Ability to grow in a changing environment with excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
