Job summary

Altis Technology in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking a senior digital transformation professional to design and operationalize a new Digital Enablement capability for a large Canadian post-secondary institution.

This role blends strategy, technology, governance, and change leadership, with hybrid work and exposure to senior stakeholders and complex initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years leading digital transformation in complex organizations.
  • 5+ years designing governance for digital solutions and AI.
  • Experience with enterprise automation and value realization.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its automation tools.
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders and facilitate workshops.
  • Relevant BA/PM certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, PRINCE2).

Responsibilities

  • Develop Digital Enablement strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
  • Establish governance, intake, prioritization, and service offerings.
  • Create Microsoft 365 automation standards and reference architectures.
  • Define guardrails for Copilot and AI-enabled technologies.
  • Lead workshops with executives, tech teams, and business units.
  • Design training and adoption plans for sustainable self-service.
  • Assess digital maturity and plan for a permanent team.

Are you a senior digital transformation professional who knows how to turn technology into practical, sustainable ways of working? This is an opportunity to help a large Canadian post-secondary institution design and operationalize a new Digital Enablement capability, improving how teams automate processes, govern technology and adopt Microsoft digital tools.

Your Responsibilities
  • Youll develop the Digital Enablement strategy, roadmap and operating model.
  • Youll establish governance, intake and prioritization processes, service offerings and a Community of Practice.
  • Youll create Microsoft 365 automation standards, reference architectures and citizen developer frameworks.
  • Youll develop governance and guardrails for Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Agents and other AI-enabled technologies.
  • Youll lead workshops and collaborate with senior executives, technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Youll create training, adoption and knowledge-transfer approaches that support sustainable self-service innovation.
  • Youll assess digital maturity and develop a transition plan for the permanent Digital Enablement team.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience leading digital transformation or business process modernization in complex organizations.
  • 510 years of experience with enterprise automation, value realization and establishing or maturing Digital Enablement, Low-Code, Innovation or Centre of Excellence practices.
  • 5+ years of experience designing governance frameworks for digital solutions, citizen development, automation and AI-enabled technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsofts digital ecosystem, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Agents.
  • Experience developing enterprise standards, reference architectures, guardrails, communities of practice, training and adoption strategies.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or a relevant field, or relevant BA/PM certification such as ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified Copilot for Microsoft 365, or equivalent certification, along with strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
