Responsibilites
  • Act as a guiding champion for PCL’s SharePoint-based intranet, ensuring it remains effective and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage strategic site enhancement projects to support the evolving needs of internal clients.
  • Conduct interviews and gather requirements from internal clients to define needs and translate them into clear, actionable tasks.
  • Prepare and deliver project progress reports and presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate technical enhancements and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Deliver digital content in a way that is visually appealing, intuitive to navigate, and engaging for end users.
  • Uphold and support intranet governance, ensuring compliance with brand, content, and publishing standards.
  • Monitor and interpret intranet analytics to help shape and improve digital communication strategies.
  • Provide writing and editing support to ensure consistent brand voice.
  • Partner with creative services to create engaging visual content.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. communications, information design).
  • A minimum of seven years in a communications role.
  • At least three years of hands-on experience managing intranets and content within Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Power BI is considered an asset.
  • A strong understanding of information architecture, metadata, taxonomy, and governance for enterprise content management solutions.
  • A strong understanding of effective user interface and user experience (UI/UX) principles.
  • Exceptional customer service and consultation skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management, time management and organizational skills.
