Job summary

PwC Canada is recruiting an Associate for our Risk Services IT Audit team. You will assess technology controls supporting financial reporting and operations, working with seasoned professionals across diverse industries.

You will gain exposure to IT general and application controls, cybersecurity measures, and data integrity, while benefiting from PwC’s CPA support program and learning resources.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in post‑secondary education and working to obtain the Canadian CPA prerequisite courses.
• Bilingual French and English (oral and written).
• Motivated to learn about technologies, IT practices and standards, infrastructure‑related risks and controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audit work efficiently while meeting the timelines and budgets set during the planning phase.
• Maintain constant communication with the lead advisor and/or director responsible for the assignments.
• Clearly document audit evidence obtained during audit execution and validate its relevance and quality.
• Analyze the impact of control deficiencies identified during audit execution on financial data and the overall audit strategy.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships within the department and with clients.
