Job description

Our client’s Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Athlone is seeking a Senior Dietician to join their multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on providing nutritional assessments and interventions to support children with disabilities, ensuring they achieve optimal health and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Support children with feeding difficulties, allergies, and specialist dietary needs.
  • Collaborate with families and the wider CDNT team, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.
  • Provide education and training to caregivers and professionals.

Requirements:

  • CORU registration as a Dietician.
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience, preferably in paediatrics or disability services.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
