Job summary

CACI International is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructures. You will develop CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or similar tools and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and collaboration across distributed teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in automation, RMF/NIST compliance, vulnerability management, and strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience in systems engineering.
• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer supporting classified DoW or Intelligence Community operations
• Experience with automated configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools within a CI/CD framework
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation, diagnostics, and infrastructure lifecycle management
• Strong understanding of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and STIG compliance requirements
• Experience performing vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Nessus and remediating findings to maintain ATO compliance
• Ability to work effectively in distributed, mission-focused teams and adapt to rapidly changing operational priorities

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure virtual and cloud infrastructures
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or other tools to automate the deployment process
• Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or other similar orchestration software
• Implement automated security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to maximize the performance and comprehensiveness of the DevSecOps pipeline
• Create and maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs
• Use DevSecOps methodologies to identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies
• Support the development and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies
