We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior DevOps Infrastructure Tester to join our team working on enhancing our enterprise data foundation capabilities to support our end users in delivering results swiftly, precisely and with the required level of detail.

You will be part of the team that will be working within Roche business units to excel implementation of their special use cases, optimizing data storage and transfer, leveraging identity and access management tools, platform and network solutions.

The Opportunity:

You will contribute to the delivery of challenging projects which require deep technical knowledge and soft skills being responsible for the completion of milestones associated with them.

We are looking for a versatile individual to take on the roles of Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer / Tester.

This role involves testing AWS infrastructure, creating documentation, consulting with customers, and capturing feedback for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AWS, infrastructure as code, and Agile methodologies.

• Test AWS infrastructure components and platforms to identify potential failure points.
• Perform end-to-end testing of platform features before customer release.
• Create and maintain up-to-date customer-facing documentation for platform features.
• Consult with customers on best practices for using the platform.
• Gather customer feedback and suggest improvements to the platform.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience deploying Cloud infrastructure using "Infrastructure as Code" in CI/CD environments (e.g., Gitlab CI/CD, Rundeck) as well as experience developing or being proficient in reviewing Terraform code.

• Experience testing AWS infrastructure components and platforms and ability to perform end-to-end testing for platform features as well as strong knowledge of AWS best practices and services.

• Ability to consult with customers and gather feedback and provide guidance and suggestions on platform usage as well as experience creating and maintaining customer-facing documentation.

• Proficiency with Source Code Management tools, Gitlab, Github.

• Familiarity with the "Test Driven Development" methodology and testing tools (testinfra, molecule, InSpec).

• Intermediate knowledge in consuming APIs using various programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Ansible).

• Familiarity with working in Agile methodologies and tools (Jira).
