Job summary

MANNARINO Systems & Software Inc. in Montreal, QC, is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to administer and support engineering tools across Windows, Unix/Linux, and virtualized environments.

You will manage CI/CD toolchains (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory) and develop Ansible playbooks to automate workflows. You will collaborate with North American and international teams, translate business needs into scalable solutions, provide user training, and maintain

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, IT or related field.
• Strong experience administering Windows, Unix/Linux, and virtualized environments.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and software delivery best practices.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating technical documentation and delivering user training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventories, system mappings, configurations, and platform documentation.
• Produce reporting and metrics related to support activities, incidents, and service requests.

Required Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience administering Windows, Unix/Linux, and virtualized environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, and Artifactory.
• Experience developing automation solutions using Ansible.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and software delivery best practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise engineering platforms and development environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing incidents, service requests, and escalations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating technical documentation and delivering user training.
• Ability to work in a global, multi-site environment.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Miscellaneous Requirements

• The work model is hybrid (minimum 3 days per week at the office in Montreal).
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written French is mandatory.
• Ability to collaborate with international teams across multiple time zones.
