Job summary

S.I. Systems Ltd. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead CI/CD delivery and cloud infrastructure in a Calgary-based hybrid setting. The role focuses on building scalable pipelines, IaC, and robust production support for guest-facing applications.

You will design and manage Kubernetes environments (AKS), deploy Docker containers, and utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD, testing, and deployment. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of DevOps experience with Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for APIs, applications, and platform services.
• Develop and improve Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for cloud infrastructure, networking, security controls, and monitoring.
• Drive automation across deployments, incident response, environment provisioning, and recovery procedures.
• Implement and maintain observability solutions including logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and distributed tracing.
• Automate and document troubleshooting and operational runbooks for production services and guest-facing applications.
• Participate in a pre/post-hours on-call rotation supporting a 24x7 production environment.
• Support release planning, deployment coordination, and change management activities across teams and platforms.
