Join our innovative team as a Senior DevOps Engineer (Autoscale) and play a pivotal role in enhancing our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will develop and implement automation scripts to efficiently manage resources, focusing on minimizing manual intervention by safely cleaning up resources, including the deletion of unattached EBS volumes in AWS. Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement automation scripts that identify and safely clean up resources associated with scaled-down hosts, including deleting unattached EBS volumes in AWS with minimal manual intervention.
2. Conduct a pilot project to assess the feasibility and benefits of migrating Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to a Rancher environment (On-prem & Cloud), focusing on improved deployment processes and autoscaling capabilities.
3. Create a strategic plan to integrate cloud-native services into the infrastructure stack, demonstrating their impact on scalability and operational efficiency through targeted proof-of-concept projects.
4. Assess and onboard applications for autoscaling.
5. Implement and test autoscaling functionality for applications.
6. Troubleshoot applications to help achieve autoscaling readiness.

Requirements

1. Extensive experience working with DevOps / DevSecOps using Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
2. Proven history of contributing to estimation and planning sessions.
3. Strong understanding of CI/CD and using automation to enable autoscaling.
4. Comfortable working with AWS Cloud Services.
5. Knowledge of architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
6. Hands-on experience with Ansible, GitHub, and JIRA.
7. Ability to analyze problems and solve them effectively.
