Alteo is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for a permanent position based in Montreal.

*** Hybrid: 2 days in the office / 3 days teleworking ***

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you are a pragmatic engineer with a solid foundational understanding of software development who can play a lead role in our shift towards a unified engineering platform. You will work closely with development teams and IT professionals to build strong relationships and help identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and trends.

Responsibilities:

This list is not exhaustive, but includes some of our ongoing DevOps initiatives:

• Iterating on and expanding the existing YAML CI/CD pipelines, transitioning from 'drag and drop' UI-based configuration to version-controlled 'configuration as code'.
• Ensuring infrastructure is observable and properly instrumented, emitting high-value telemetry data.
• Building automated processes and workflows to ensure pre-production environments closely resemble production environments.

Profile:

• DEC/BAC in IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• 5-10 years experience in software development / DevOps
• Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, releases, artifacts, boards)
• IIS (including Application Request Routing and URL Rewrite modules)
• Windows Server 2019+
• F5 BIG-IP (Local Traffic Manager, Server Pools, DNS)
