Job summary

State Street is seeking an AVP for SaaS Onboarding, Systems & Automation. The role focuses on automating end-to-end software delivery, reducing toil, and enforcing DevOps practices across CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with platform engineering, product, and SaaS teams to deploy robust, scalable solutions. Experience in financial services, scripting in Python, and proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Artifactory/JFrog, and Git are required.

Qualifications

5+ years in a DevOps, Automation Engineer, or Systems Engineering role, preferably in Financial Services.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Understanding of financial application logic and banking production environments.

Responsibilities

Audit manual processes across the application lifecycle and design automated solutions to eliminate toil.
Develop and maintain configuration management scripts using Python, PowerShell, Ansible.
Improve CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, risk-mitigated deployments of SaaS applications.
Ensure efficiency, availability, and configuration of the SaaS platform by providing robust solutions.
Adopt and implement industry-standard DevOps policies and procedures.
Create automated scripts and tools to build, configure, deploy, and test applications in multiple environments.
