Qualifications

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle project accounting for a portfolio of development projects.
  • Maintain project budgets, forecasts, committed costs, and actuals in the accounting system.
  • Collaborate with project teams across development, construction, and operations.
  • Review and code invoices, track approvals, and ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare financial reports and draw packages for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Analyze project performance and prepare month-end reports, variance analysis, and cost updates.
  • Track project cash flow needs and coordinate with finance for funding schedules.
  • Manage profit reporting on individual units or asset components where applicable.
  • Ensure all contract changes and commitments are accurately reflected in cost tracking.
  • Coordinate with operational accounting during project transitions.
  • Contribute to improving processes, policies, and internal controls for project reporting.
  • Support audits and internal requests for project-related financial information.
  • Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in project data and financial documentation.
