Innovation in TD Securities

The TDS Innovation Hub is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of automations and reporting dashboards that serve many parts of the business. This team utilizes UiPath, the Power Platform, Alteryx, Tableau, and Service Now to build solutions that perform mundane tasks and unlock time for colleagues to engage in more meaningful work.

About This Role

We are looking for someone armed with a strong tool-kit to develop and maintain technical solutions that adhere to development and design principles while meeting business and governance requirements. You'll also provide technical expertise with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security. This mandate includes planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards. At TD, we hope you'll be inspired both by the work we do and the people who make it all happen.

Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:

1. Participate in the design and implementation of automations to help various teams across the business
2. Provide support to citizen developers within the business who are developing their own simple tools
3. Properly document and test changes and follow the mandated project and development processes
4. Work with business representatives to clarify and finalize business requirements and provide input to the overall technical direction of the application
5. Prioritize multiple projects that may use multiple tools

What can you bring to TD?

1. Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
2. 3+ years of development and technology delivery experience with Agile Delivery Experience preferred.
3. Must have skills: development of complex automations/workflows and applications built using ServiceNow (Service Now Administration Fundamentals, Scripting Fundamentals, and Application Development Fundamentals Certifications required)
4. Nice to Have Knowledge of: Power Platform, UiPath, Power Shell, Python, SQL, UI/UX Design experience, etc.
5. Strength in developing effective relationships with different business units, portfolio and project managers, vendors.
6. Familiarity with Automation Governance, Vendor Management, and Infrastructure Technology processes is an asset.
7. Ability to present and make recommendations to senior management
8. Enthusiasm and willingness to foster a culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.
