Base pay range

CA$110,000.00/yr - CA$120,000.00/yr

This company has spent the last 3 years developing an inhouse software platform that is a no-code configurable platform for the distribution of financial products. The project went live at the start of the year and it has been a success. They have many projects ahead to add on to the platform and much more.

More about role:

They are currently looking for a Senior developer skilled in .NET to join a team of roughly 5 people and to also work. You will be part of a scrum team with other creative developers, product owners and DevOps engineers. We want someone who is passionate about how their work would affects the business. They have a pipeline of projects they’d like to tackle with the recent news of the new platform so they are looking for somebody excited to join them.

Title: Senior Developer

Address: Can be fully remote

Type: Full time and permanent

Salary: 110-120k with some flexibility + benefits + matching RRSP + 4 weeks vacation . In addition: you can work 4 weeks out of the year remotely from anywhere in the world. They also offer other perks as well, gym, office expense ect. There is a discretionary bonus (team and individual performance based)

About the role.

• Develop APIs in .Net 9
• Be an active participant in the scrum team, through grooming, planning, scrums, reviews and retrospectives
• Provide Level 2 and Outage Incident support to our users on a rotation basis – everyone takes a turn
• Develop PWAs in WebAssembly (Blazor!). Blazor is not required. If you have experience with other modern FE frameworks like React, it can work as well.

What you bring.

• 5+ years experience developing applications in C#
• Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
• Excellent collaborative and problem-solving aptitude

Not required but nice to have.

• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services industries
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) or Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) in a production environment
• Front-end development experience (React, Blazor, Angular) in collaboration with UI/UX designers
