Job summary

Huawei Canada is seeking a Senior Developer - GPU Driver for a 12-month contract in Markham, Ontario. You will develop and maintain GPU drivers on Linux and other platforms, design and optimize features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate drivers into systems.

The role requires strong C/C++ and Python skills, deep Linux knowledge, and experience with virtualization and container technologies. Independent problem-solver with a drive for cutting-edge graphics tech is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience in Linux environments.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python or other languages.
• Extensive knowledge of Linux OS, GPU driver architecture and memory management.
• Experience with virtualization technologies is a plus (KVM, QEMU, Xen, VMware).
• Experience with containerization technologies is a plus (Docker, Kubernetes).

We keep tracking the trends of cutting-edge technologies, building the competitive strength of mobile AI, graphics, multimedia, and software architecture for mobile phone products.

About the job:

• Develop and maintain GPU driver on Linux/Other platforms.
