Job Description:

Job information Senior Developer Data and Analytics from the company Lafarge Canada. This latest Senior Developer Data and Analytics job vacancy is located in Calgary, AB L4V 1S7, Canada. Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex data models, schemas, and structures in Datasphere to meet business requirements.
  • Create views and ETL/ELT transformations using Datasphere graphical interface, SQL, Python, and scripting capabilities.
  • Support business requirements in SAP Analytics Cloud and other reporting platforms connecting to Datasphere.
  • Serve as SME for Datasphere, proactively identifying issues and improvements.
  • Understand data sources feeding into Datasphere (SAP ERPs and others) to develop appropriate data models.
  • Suggest improvements to existing data models and transformations.
  • Ensure data assets are developed with performance, scalability, and accuracy in mind.
  • Collaborate with IT for lifecycle management of data assets.
  • Monitor data performance and remediate issues for quick response times.
  • Stay updated on SAP Datasphere updates via training and seminars.
  • Maintain understanding of KPIs and ensure data models align with business metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 8-10 years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, SQL, Python, or related tools is a plus.
  • Experience with BI and Data Warehousing tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, SAP HANA, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, privacy, and legal principles.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE use.
