• Senior Designer, Video Motion Effects & Graphics - Global

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Senior Designer responsible for motion design (motion graphics) of video content for paid media, web, and social media across all channels and departments at a senior level.

This hybrid role will be based out of our head office in Toronto.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Collaborate with videographers to add titles and animations over videos, implement VFX, and use dynamic compositing techniques.
• Establish conceptual and creative direction in collaboration with graphic designers, illustrators, motion graphics artists, photographers, and videographers.
• Support the Heads of Creative Design Department with ideation, production, and other tasks.
• Provide insights and creative input across various content types including web, motion, video, digital, and social media.
• Complete post-production edits for videos as required for partnership deliverables.
• Create original concepts with clear design rationale and execute fast-turnaround motion/video requests.
• Oversee and manage video post-production projects and support daily tasks.
• Coordinate with freelancers and agencies for ongoing projects.
• Transform footage and scripts into compelling visual stories.
• Perform multimedia functions such as recording audio and duplicating audio/video content.
• Partner with the creative team to lead, manage, and support ongoing projects.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects), and 3D software (e.g., Houdini, Maya).
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
• 5+ years experience in designing motion graphics for video.
• Experience with compositing and VFX work such as paint-outs, set extensions, and masking.
• Ability to produce high-quality presentations, mock-ups, and evaluate asset reusability.
